GEM TEENS READER’ CLUB
This club is an online community of more than 100 Teenagers across all states in Nigeria and Africa countries. This program aims at helping teenagers to cultivate a reading habit.
We strongly believed reading other books outside the academic context creates rooms for youth to develop stronger social skills, vocabulary and writing skills, and also help them to better understand and process more complex ideas. We feel poised to push young adults to acquire wider knowledge which are necessary to prepare them for future employments and social space.
It’s also a platform created to enable young people to improve their self-awareness to develop an understanding of their own abilities, aptitudes and interests and how these are relevant to their career decisions.
It is rightly said ”Readers are Leaders” Books on personal development, literacy, health, civic engagement et ce tera all approved and certified by Teens Lead Initiative team are read and reviewed by every members at the end of each month. Within few months of establishment, books such as: ‘’I am Malala,, ‘’Get a vision for your life’’ ‘’How to succeed at being yourself’’ ‘’Think Big- Unleashing your potential’’
